List your top 5 favorite fruits.

These days, I don’t just eat fruit because it tastes good—I eat with intention. My skin and overall health are top priorities, especially as I think more about aging gracefully (and naturally!). Funny enough, my top 5 favorite fruits now aren’t the same ones I would’ve picked years ago. Back then, it was all about the sweetness. Now, it’s about what each bite is doing for me.

Here are my current skin-boosting favorites:

1. Bananas – These are my go-to for hydration. They’re packed with potassium and vitamin B6, which help keep skin moisturized and calm—especially helpful if your skin tends to get dry or irritated.

2. Mangoes – Sweet, tropical, and full of beta-carotene (which converts to vitamin A). That’s great news for collagen production and cell turnover, making mangoes a glow-up in fruit form.

3. Pineapples – A little tangy, a little zingy, and full of bromelain—a natural enzyme that gently exfoliates from the inside out. Hello, smoother skin!

4. Watermelon – It’s basically edible skincare. Watermelon is hydrating, loaded with lycopene (a powerful antioxidant), and helps protect against sun damage and dullness. Plus, it’s super refreshing.

5. Cherries – These little beauties are full of vitamin C, which is a big deal for boosting collagen and keeping skin firm. They also have antioxidants that help fight inflammation and oxidative stress.

All fruits are good for you, but not all fruits target the same skin concerns. That’s why I’m intentional about what I choose now. These five are my current favorites because they’re not just tasty—they’re part of my skincare routine from the inside out.
